i can’t wait to see more of this stuff in my cycladic art and culture class! i’m also pretty pumped that cameron is the teacher for it, so at least i’ll already know him. i also found out today that not many students come from other countries, so we shouldn’t expect that. from what cameron said, since there are only 8 of us our classes will really be more like mentorships with the teachers about the subjects that we’re interested in. i’m all for learning at my own pace and really getting to know the artists and instructors so i’m all for this. gahhh i can’t wait to get to paros tomorrow!!!
today we visited the akropolis, which was much better the 2nd time around since it was cooler and there was a bit of a breeze. since tourist season is winding down we didn’t have to shove our way through to look at stuff, which was nice for a change!
this is my bed in our quaint little hostel for a few nights. tomorrow we head down to paros and i’ll have a whole room to myself! here though there are two sets of bunk beds in each room, so it’s a bit cramped, especially with all our luggage!
we travel not to escape life, but for life not to escape us
when I pack, I tend to take up the entire living room w all my stuff. oops!
