yesterday afternoon we arrived here in Dunkirk, NY for our week of family camp and fellowship. we were welcomed with open arms and huge grins by everyone here, which just so happens to be 44 families a lot of people! golf cart drivers zoomed upand drove our bags to our cabin for us and we began to move in for the week.

the cabin is small, just four bedrooms and a bathroom, but that’s all we really need for the week since we’ll be outside doing other things most of the time. when we got here my family and I literally had no clue where anything was or what we were supposed to do, and yet everyone here did a fantastic job of orienting us to our new surroundings and making us feel at home. after less than 24 hours it’s amazing how comfortable I already feel here. so far, so good!!
